Hi, I’m Suz Meyers, welcome to my website.
I am the author of Rediscovering the Divine: Seeing God in a Whole New Way and originator of the gifts in my store Divine Designs.
My goal is to share the goodness of God with you, refresh your soul by focusing on the beauty of His creation, and help you see and know God in a personal way – as we journey together to rediscover the divine.
No matter who you are, where you were born, how you were raised, at some point you’ll ask yourself this question—does God exist—and you’ll begin a journey to find the answer.
Along the way, you may ask if it’s even possible to know God, if He has a plan for the world, and if God has a plan for you. And, if so, what is it?
I struggled for years with many of the same questions.
I wrestled with the concept of God, I had a tough time thinking about the grandness of God in the midst of the busyness of my life, and I even thought that God could be a waste of time.
But, here’s what I discovered and I hope you will too:
- If you want to know God, what He is doing today and what He wants to do tomorrow, you have to reach out to Him and study what He’s already done.
- If you want to understand God and His ways, you have to understand His journey from His perspective.
- God tells us what we can expect in the future. He even tells us what we can expect when we die.
- He lays out His plan, tells us about key events, provides a timeline, and He gives us the free will to decide our future for ourselves.
If you’ve struggled with questions about God, if you’ve wrestled with God, if you want to understand and know God, if you want to go deeper with God, but you don’t know where to start, I invite you to journey with me to rediscover the divine together.
In my book, we’ll take a look at human history, consider ancient writings, and contemplate the future and most importantly, together, we’ll see, experience, and understand God in a whole new way.
If you want to go deeper with God, I’ve written a Study Guide that will enhance your understanding of God’s plan to redeem humanity, destroy evil, and make everything new. The Study Guide is great for women’s Bible study groups. For more information, e-mail me.
The gifts in my store Divine Designs celebrate the creator’s canvas by featuring His designs on high-quality and eye-catching products that make great gifts for the chicks in your life.
I look forward to journeying with you as we rediscover the divine together.
Biography
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I’m a fourth generation Coloradoan. I got married in 2003. My husband (Paul) and I have two fur babies—Buddy and Charlie. We live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
After college, my life was about getting ahead and making a name for myself. I worked in corporate America for years and eventually, started my own business. I began volunteering at my church and went on a mission trip that changed my life forever. I love serving the poor and coming along side folks who are having a tough time and helping them get through it. In addition to missions, I have volunteered for many years in women’s ministries helping women discover the divine.
Nature is incredible. I enjoy studying its complexity and basking in its beauty. Flowers—especially ones that come from my garden—make me smile. I get to make flower arrangements all summer long. I love the ocean especially the sapphire waters of Hawaii or the turquoise waters of the Bahamas. I enjoy taking photographs of nature when I travel (you can check out some great places to visit and fun things to do on your next trip on Pinterest). We can learn so much about the creator by studying creation.
I love to throw a party. I’m not talking about huge gatherings where you have to squeeze between people to get from one room to another. I enjoy small parties with fun themes and decors to match, creative food that people talk about for months and may even remember as being the “best” they ever tasted, and comfortable places where I can hang out and have a conversation with friends. You can check out some fun ideas for your next party on Pinterest.
You’ll notice in my writing that I ask all kinds of questions. I think this is a great way to open the window to discovery and help gain perspective. Most of all, I seek God will all my heart, mind, and soul and I’m very much looking forward to the day when I get to meet him face-to-face!
Family
My mom grew up in Nazi Germany during World War II. She barely survived her childhood. She met my dad at a sidewalk cafe while he was traveling in Europe. He developed an abscessed tooth, she nursed him back to health, and over time, they fell in love. My mom immigrated to the United States (Denver) from the Netherlands to marry my dad and the rest is history.
I met Paul and married him in 2003. I thank God for Paul as he loves the Lord and he’s a good man. I have an older brother, a couple of nieces, and three nephews. I also have a couple of sisters in laws and a brother in law. Oh yeah, did I mention that my husband and I have a couple of fur babies—Buddy and Charlie?

Statement of Faith
As far as the story of my faith journey, it is accessible through my book (Rediscovering the Divine: Seeing God in a Whole New Way). I believe that I express my faith in the book in ways that could never really be expressed in a “Statement of Faith”.
